Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Heavy-Highway Civil Construction Foreman/Superintendent to lead and oversee civil and infrastructure projects. In this role, you will be responsible for managing construction crews, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining project schedules, and delivering high-quality results on time and within budget. Your leadership will drive project success from planning through completion, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and excellence on every job site.

Duties:
  • Supervise daily operations on civil construction sites.
  • Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers and vendors.
  • Work with Project Managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and company safety policies; conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, utilize GPS systems and verify grades.
  • Utilize Heavy Job to ensure daily time, notes, photos and quantitates are correct and accurate.
  • Oversee quality control measures by inspecting work quality, materials, and workmanship; implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain detailed documentation including daily reports, incident logs, change orders, and contract compliance records.
  • Operate heavy equipment as needed.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience supervising Heavy-Highway or Civil Construction Projects with a strong understanding of construction management principles.
  • Extensive knowledge of construction site safety regulations including OSHA standards.
  • Proficient in using Heavy Job and Microsoft programs.
  • Strong skills in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction documents.
  • Supervisory experience leading diverse teams on large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with contracts management and budgeting processes within the construction industry.
  • Strong organizational, self-motivation, and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members, customers and management.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
